I remember each of my African tours like it was yesterday ! the experience is altogether very different from Jungles of India. The quality of wildlife you can get there is absolutely beautiful. I, by no means say that Indian wildlife is inferior. The animals in African Savannahs have a huge pray-base, have plenty of water and have humongous territories. The chances of spotting wildlife increase by 100 times due to huge open grass-lands, unlike thick dense forests of India.
I was very fortunate to get a chance and photography Tira, the only pseudo-melanistic zebra in the entire world. Also, one of my photos, a solo lioness on a tall Umbrella Acacia tree, made it into international newspaper, Daily Mirror.
